Pickled Onions

Ingredients:

1 large onion

¼ cup water

½ cup vinegar

2 tsps sugar

1 tsp salt

 

Directions:

Slice onions and put in mason jar. Put vinegar, water, sugar and salt in a small pan and bring to a rolling boil. Then take liquid off heat and pour over onions. Press down on onions, cover and let return to room temperature. Once at room temperature, put in the fridge. Best if eaten within 3 days.
