Flour Tortillas

Ingredients:

4 cups flour

1.5 tsp salt

1 ⅔ cup hot water

¼ olive oil 

 

Directions:

Mix flour, salt and oil. Slowly add ½ of water and stir. Add the remaining amount slowly and stir. Dough needs to be fairly dry. If it seems too wet, add a small amount of flour. Too dry, add a small amount of water. The dough shouldn’t be sticky! Divide dough into balls and roll out with a rolling pin (dust pin with flour so dough doesn’t stick to pan). Heat a pan, and when it’s hot, put the dough into the pan. Cook for 2 minutes and flip and cook again for 1-2 minutes. Repeat with remaining dough. Place individual cooked tortillas into a towel, press, and set aside. Repeat.
