Apple Chutney

Ingredients

  • Apples – 2
  • Ginger – 1 Tsp – 1 Tblsp (ginger is powerful so adjust amount according to your tastebuds)
  • Dried Cranberries – 1/2 Cup
  • Apple Cider Vinegar – 2 Tblsp.
  • Cinnamon – 1 Tsp.
  • Water – 1/3 cup or more

Directions

Dice apples. Mince Ginger. Add apples, ginger, cranberries, vinegar, cinnamon and water to pan. Stir. Cover and cook over low heat from approximately 25 – 30 minutes. You might need to add more water while it’s cooking if the apples aren’t very juicy.

It’s great over pork or chicken. You can mix it into your morning oatmeal or you can eat it like my daughter does – just by itself!
